The current system needs change. That’s why we have launched the West Yorkshire Bus Strategy 2040. This plan outlines major steps to enhance the 3.5 million journeys made every week, for everyone.

Until our franchising scheme is rolled out in 2027, we’re making wide-scale improvements to the current Metro system. Because everyone in West Yorkshire deserves to use a bus system that just works.
